Surah Ar-Rahman is a Quranic sura that has been considered one of the greatest and most important verses by the Quran scholars. Many different reasons have been given for its significance, the most prominent of which is its connection to the events that took place in the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In the Surah, the Prophet is told to look upon those who recite it with kindness and compassion and who will be protected by Allah from the punishment. In this way, the Surah serves as a means of protection for the believers, as well as an assurance that the punishment will not be incurred by them.

The Surah has been known by a number of names. Among these names, the most prominent is the Most Merciful, which has been given as an explanation for the importance of the sura. The phrase has also been translated into English as the most merciful, and this translation is used as the title of a book that was written by one of the Prophet’s companions.
